Finally, during the months of May and June, once Lake Saint-Jean has finally thawed, nature comes back to life. Soon, the sky fills with thousands of migrating snow geese and Canada geese. The beach at the centre touristique Le Rigolet, on the shores of Lac Saint-Jean, is a prime spot to admire these large birds as they move between land and water throughout the day.
