La Pastabox – Cuit-Ziné-Moi

Located in a converted shipping container on the grounds of Chocolats Rose Élisabeth in Métabetchouan–Lac-à-la-Croix, La Pastabox offers creative and delicious street food, right next to the Véloroute des Bleuets.

Born from an initiative by chef Stéphan Boivin, this unique eatery features dishes cooked right before your eyes in an Italian pizza oven, using local, organic, and seasonal ingredients: fresh herbs from the garden, charcuterie from Ferme Villoise, vegetables from Merci la Terre, oils from Ferme Tournevent, and cheeses from Fromagerie Boivin.

On the menu: fresh homemade pasta (rosé, alfredo, pesto, marinara), thin-crust individual pizzas, antipasti, burrata bruschetta, salads, and vegetarian or vegan options. All served with a smile in a friendly, laid-back atmosphere.

A wonderful way to take a gourmet break while discovering the riches of the Jean-Saint-Jean region!

This spring, Pastabox distinguished itself among Quebec’s top establishments by being named a finalist in the “Canteen of the Year” category at the prestigious Lauriers de la gastronomie québécoise awards. This recognition was received with pride, and above all as a wonderful tribute to their work, the local terroir, and the culinary talent of the region.
