Every winter, Lac Saint-Jean hosts a true pop-up village: le Village sur glace de Roberval. On the frozen surface of the lake, dozens of colorful little houses create a unique setting filled with a festive and friendly atmosphere.

People come here to experience winter in a different way: skating on the large ice rink, exploring the trails on snowshoes or fat bikes, watching friendly hockey or curling matches on the ice, or simply strolling among the cabins and admiring the breathtaking view of the frozen lake. Visitors can also enjoy the many family-friendly activities, themed evenings, and the warm atmosphere that brings this ice village to life throughout the season.

Free to visit, the site is open from January through mid-March, depending on ice conditions. Whether for a family afternoon, an outing with friends, or a quintessential Lac-Saint-Jean experience, the Roberval Ice Village is a must-see winter destination in the region.
