Ville de Desbiens
Desbiens is the region’s top tourist destination, boasting the most attractions per square kilometer. It offers tourists the only museum that tells the story of the discovery of Lac-Saint-Jean by Father Jean DeQuen (the Trading Post), as well as an open-air museum called “Route des poteaux,” where notable figures from our region are depicted in life-size form along the main street. Also, come admire the magnificent view of Lac-Saint-Jean from the terrace on the roof of City Hall, which features a bar and restaurant (Bistro Découverte).
