Parc Falaise
Located in the heart of downtown Alma, Falaise Park features a 2-kilometer nature trail. The trail allows visitors to discover several monumental sculptures created during the international symposia held in Alma in 1965 and 1966. Enjoy an evening stroll to admire the illuminated 150th-anniversary footbridge spanning the rapids of the Petite Décharge River.
Sentier de la Rivière Alex
Discover the beauty of the ZEC des Passes region, home to 900 lakes, on this roughly 5-kilometer hike. Grab a bite to eat at one of the picnic areas and take a dip in the river at the end of the trail! The trail is open year-round except during hunting season, which runs from late September to mid-October. In August, don’t forget to bring a container to pick delicious wild blueberries!
Sentier de la Rivière Petite Décharge
This trail runs along the Petite Décharge River near the Saint-Georges basin in Alma. The trail’s proximity to the river offers a splendid view of the area’s wilderness. Enjoy hiking or snowshoeing! In winter, the trail passes near the local ice village, offering a picturesque setting.
