A stunning location where the highest peaks offer a magnificent view of the town of Alma and the Saguenay River. In the summer, you can go hiking and mountain biking. In the winter, the center lets you enjoy your favorite sports: cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and fat biking. The entire cross-country ski trail network features double-tracked trails and is accessible to all types of skiers, from classic-style enthusiasts to those who prefer the skate technique. A section of the network also features lighted trails (5 km). There are over 30 kilometers of trails for all skill levels. Equipment rentals are also available on-site. Access is free in the summer; in the winter, a membership card is required.

Secteur Mont-Villa-Saguenay (Parc d’une rive à l’autre)
With six lighted runs and two T-bar lifts, tubing is also available on-site. What makes Mont Villa Saguenay famous is its snow park, which spans the entire vertical drop, and its numerous big air features and rails—all with a bonus view of the Petite Décharge River and the city of Alma.
Secteur Pointe-des-Américains (Parc d’une rive à l’autre)
Pointe-des-Américains offers a beautiful trail with several loops (totaling 14 km round-trip) through a mixed forest dominated by deciduous trees, where you can enjoy hiking, mountain biking, cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing in the winter. Dogs on a leash are allowed.

Arboretum de la Presqu’île Croft
By restoring the region’s original forest through the planting of more than 2,000 tree species, the arboretum offers visitors the chance to see a kettle—a natural geological formation left behind by the melting of the glacier that once covered the Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean region more than 18,000 years ago. The site features a walking and biking trail, as well as a cross-country skiing and snowshoeing trail in winter. The easy-level trail is free and accessible year-round, and dogs on a leash are welcome.
Parc national de la Pointe-Taillon
With its miles of sandy shores, 45-kilometer bike path, and rustic campsites along the shores of Lake Saint-Jean and the Péribonka River, the large peninsula of Pointe-Taillon National Park is a true paradise! In the Amicaux sector, enjoy the comfort of Écho cottages year-round, and in the Camp-de-Touage-les-Îles sector in Saint-Gédéon, the campground—with and without services—also welcomes recreational vehicles, allowing everyone to explore the many islands in this area of Lake Saint-Jean.

Sentier du Petit Marais
Spot six species of amphibians, 16 species of fish, and over 200 species of birds—about 30 of which are considered rare visitors—in this 120-hectare area. Several interpretive displays on the local flora and fauna will help you learn more during your 4-kilometer round-trip hike. In winter, a snowshoe trail awaits you! The distance is the same as in summer.
Massif aux 3 Lacs
A 6.2-km trail circles Lake Tommy, with several loops branching off to the north. In winter, take advantage of the trails for snowshoeing! The Relais des 3 Lacs is also the starting point for classic-style cross-country ski trails, featuring 2-, 3-, 8-, and 12-km routes. Rest areas with shelters and picnic tables provide spots to take a break and admire the magnificent views of the landscape. The trail also runs alongside a massive beaver dam nearly 2 meters high!
Sentier du Banc-de-Sable
The mountain bike trails make the most of the area’s rugged terrain, offering short descents and fast climbs. In winter, cross-country skiers take over the groomed trails. There are a total of 15 km of trails ranging from easy to intermediate difficulty.
